Frequently asked questions
What data does DropFlowLister collect, and where is it stored?
DropFlowLister saves settings, prompts, and run progress in your browser, and saves stores, templates, shipping policies, credits, and listing history to your DropFlowLister account. DropFlowLister keeps this data while your account is active and as long as needed for legal, tax, and accounting reasons, then deletes or anonymizes it. The full list is in the Privacy Policy at https://dropflowlister.com/privacy-policy/.
Why does DropFlowLister need "storage" and "unlimited storage"?
DropFlowLister uses storage to save your settings, prompts, progress, and results in your browser. Large bulk runs and image data can go past Chrome's normal limit, so it also asks for unlimited storage.
Why does DropFlowLister need "scripting"?
The scripting permission lets DropFlowLister add its tools to supplier and marketplace pages. It also lets the extension fill in listing forms for you.
Why does DropFlowLister need "tabs"?
DropFlowLister uses the tabs permission to open, switch, and close tabs during runs. For example, it opens a supplier page, then the marketplace listing page.
Why does DropFlowLister need "webRequest"?
DropFlowLister uses webRequest to read request details on Poshmark sales pages and on eBay listing-draft requests. This helps it finish actions on pages where you're already signed in.
Why does DropFlowLister need "alarms"?
DropFlowLister uses alarms to start Auto-Scheduling runs at the time you set. It also uses alarms for regular jobs, like refreshing your VeRO lists every hour.
Why does DropFlowLister need "notifications"?
DropFlowLister uses notifications to show Chrome pop-up messages about background work. For example, you'll see "Auto-Schedule Started" or "Auto-Schedule Failed".
Why does DropFlowLister need "downloads"?
DropFlowLister uses downloads to save files you export, such as results, logs, and lists. It only downloads when you export something.
Why does DropFlowLister need "declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess"?
This permission lets DropFlowLister block images in background scraping tabs so pages load faster. It still lets CAPTCHA checks load so you can solve them.
Why does DropFlowLister need "debugger", and why does Chrome say it "started debugging this browser"?
DropFlowLister uses the debugger permission to send real mouse clicks on Amazon during automated ordering. Chrome shows the "started debugging this browser" bar while that step runs, and the bar goes away when it ends.
Why does DropFlowLister need access to Amazon, eBay, Poshmark, Walmart, AliExpress, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Home Depot?
DropFlowLister reads product details from supplier sites and creates listings on marketplace sites. It acts on these sites when you use a tool or start a run. DropFlowLister's supported suppliers are Amazon, AliExpress, and Walmart. Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Home Depot aren't supported yet.
Why does DropFlowLister need access to image servers like ebayimg, alicdn, walmartimages, and cloudfront?
Product photos are stored on these image servers, not on the main shopping sites. DropFlowLister needs access to download the photos for your listings and templates.
Does DropFlowLister read my marketplace or supplier passwords?
The DropFlowLister extension works with the accounts you're already signed in to in Chrome, so it doesn't need your passwords. If you choose to give login details for a connected account, DropFlowLister stores them with industry-standard safeguards. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected by access controls, but no system is completely secure.
How does DropFlowLister protect connected account details?
DropFlowLister stores account IDs and session or access tokens for connected accounts with industry-standard safeguards, and uses them only to run the service. Email contact@dropflowlister.com with any privacy questions.
Why does DropFlowLister send my eBay store ID to its server?
DropFlowLister sends your eBay store ID so Market Analyzer can leave your own store out of competitor results. This keeps you from scanning yourself.
Where is my Replicate API key stored, and who can see it?
Your Replicate API key is saved only in your browser on that computer. DropFlowLister sends it straight to Replicate when you enhance images, and it's not saved to your DropFlowLister account.
What happens to buyer addresses copied with "Copy Buyer"?
Buyer details copied with Copy Buyer are saved to your DropFlowLister account. This lets you paste them on another computer, like when you place the supplier order.
What does DropFlowLister send when I report a bug or a VeRO violation?
A DropFlowLister report sends the text you write and any screenshots you add. VeRO suggestions are reviewed by an admin before they're added to the shared list.
Does DropFlowLister use my data to train AI?
Yes. Listing and usage data is sent to DropFlowLister's servers to power features like duplicate blocking and to improve and train AI models. This data is encrypted and secured.
Is using DropFlowLister automation allowed by the marketplaces' terms?
DropFlowLister is built to follow marketplace rules, including VeRO protection on eBay listings. Still, some marketplaces and suppliers limit or ban automated tools. You decide whether, how, and on which accounts to use each DropFlowLister automation feature, and you accept the risk. If a site's rules ban a feature, don't use that feature on that site. Contact support if you have questions about your account.
Who is the company behind DropFlowLister?
