This article lists the real error messages Flow Tracker shows. Use Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac) to find the exact text you see.
Key points
- Most stops are safe: Rate limits, captchas, and cooldowns pause the run. Flow Tracker resumes on its own.
- Retry is built in: Rows that time out or get blocked can be re-checked with ↺ Retry Errors.
- Nothing is sent to eBay until you export or push. Unless Auto Upload is on, a scan only changes what you see in Flow Tracker.
Before you start
- Reload the Flow Tracker tab and try again.
- Check that you're signed in to the extension and to eBay in the same browser.
- Check that your listings have a SKU in Custom label (SKU).
"No items to track. Load a CSV into the Items section first, or use Automate to pull one from eBay."
Cause: You clicked ▶ Start with an empty Items list.
Fix:
- Click Load CSV and choose your eBay active-listings file.
- Or click Automate to download it from eBay.
- Click ▶ Start again.
"Load a CSV first."
Cause: You tried an action that needs rows, but no file is loaded.
Fix:
- Click Load CSV.
- Pick the All active listings report from Seller Hub → Reports → Downloads.
"Automate: download interception timed out — try Load CSV manually"
Cause: Automate opened Seller Hub Reports, but the report didn't download within about 2 minutes. eBay may have changed the page, asked you to sign in, or been slow.
Fix:
- Make sure you're signed in to eBay.
- Go to Seller Hub → Reports → Downloads yourself.
- Download the All active listings report.
- In Flow Tracker, click Load CSV and pick that file.
What to send support: a screenshot of the Seller Hub Reports page and the time you clicked Automate.
"Automate: CSV loaded but no rows found"
Cause: The downloaded file had no listings. This can happen if you have no active listings on that eBay site, or the report type was wrong.
Fix:
- Check that your popup region matches the eBay site you sell on.
- Download the report yourself and open it to confirm it has rows.
- Load it with Load CSV.
"No failed items to retry."
Cause: You clicked ↺ Retry Errors, but no rows need a retry.
Fix: No action is needed. All rows finished.
"⛔ Rate Limited" / "Supplier detected too many requests. Auto-resuming after cooldown."
Cause: The supplier saw too many requests in a short time. This limit is set by the supplier, not by DropFlowLister. Flow Tracker pauses and counts down (for example 120 seconds). It may also show "🚫 Price-strip — 15 min cooldown" if Amazon hides prices on many pages in a row.
Fix:
- Wait. The run resumes on its own.
- Lower Threads for your next run.
- Avoid browsing the same supplier heavily in other tabs during a scan.
"🤖 Captcha — solve it in the opened tab (auto-resumes)"
Cause: The supplier asked for a human check (captcha).
Fix:
- Find the supplier tab Flow Tracker opened.
- Solve the captcha.
- Return to Flow Tracker. Tracking resumes once the check clears.
"⚠ Supplier softban — cooling down"
Cause: The supplier flagged too many requests. Rows checked during this time show "Softban — please retry after cooldown".
Fix:
- Let the countdown finish.
- Click ↺ Retry Errors after the run to re-check those rows.
"⛔ Paused — worker guard" / "Halted (worker thrash guard) — press Start or Retry to resume"
Cause: Flow Tracker paused itself because its background checks stopped behaving normally. This protects your data.
Fix:
- Click ▶ Start or ↺ Retry Errors to continue.
- If it happens again, reload the tab, set Resume to the last row you saw, and start again with fewer Threads.
"Push to eBay error: …" / "Auto-upload failed: …" / "Export error: …"
Cause: Something went wrong while building or uploading the update file. The text after the colon gives the reason.
Fix:
- Click ⬇ Download CSV to save the file.
- Upload it yourself in Seller Hub → Reports → Uploads.
What to send support: the full error text and a screenshot.
"No rows to export."
Cause: Your export settings left nothing to send. For example, all rows are excluded, or both Update Price and Update Quantity are off.
Fix: Turn on Update Price or Update Quantity, and check the OOS / Failed choice.
Row messages that need your attention
| Row message | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "No SKU on row — skipped" | The listing has no Custom label. | Add the SKU in eBay, then rescan. |
| "eBay.X listing — that region isn't supported yet, left untouched" | The row is from an eBay site Flow Tracker can't map. | No fix today. DropFlowLister supports eBay US and Canada, and more eBay regions are in progress. |
| "Belongs to Amazon.X — left untouched" | The product lives on the other Amazon site (for example .ca vs .com). | Scan with the matching region. |
| "Timed out — please retry" | The supplier page was slow. | Click ↺ Retry Errors. |
| " |
The supplier refused the request. | Wait, then retry with fewer threads. |
| "Page failed to load — please retry" | The page didn't open. | Retry later. |
| "eBay price unreadable — qty set to 0" | The eBay price in your file was missing or zero. | Check the listing on eBay and the CSV. |
| "PRICE DROP BLOCKED — …" | The new price is more than your Max Price Drop % below the current price. | Open the supplier page. If the low price is real, raise the limit and click ↻ Re-apply to scanned. |
