Seller Hub Price Tracker errors: fix tracker and purge problems

Use Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac) to find the exact message you see on the panel or on a listing row.

Before you start

• Refresh the Seller Hub page.
• Check that you're on Seller Hub → Listings → Active and signed in to eBay and to the extension.
• Show the Custom label (SKU), Sold quantity, Views, and Start date columns with Customize.

The DropFlow panel doesn't appear

Cause: The panel only loads on the Active listings page, and only for an active DropFlowLister plan.

Fix:

1. Open Seller Hub → Listings → Active.
2. Open the extension popup and confirm you're signed in.
3. Refresh the page.
4. If the panel is off-screen, double-click an empty part of it, or resize the window. It snaps back into view.

"Set at least one criteria first"

Cause: You clicked Purge Listings with Max Sold, Max Views, and Min Days Listed all blank.

Fix: Fill in at least one field, then click Purge Listings again.

"✕ Aborted — Could not select listings — try scrolling. Re-run after refreshing the page."

Cause: Purger found matching rows but couldn't tick their checkboxes. eBay may still be loading the table.

Fix:

1. Refresh the page.
2. Scroll down so the whole table loads.
3. Click Purge Listings again.

Other "Aborted" reasons work the same way. Examples: "Actions button not found on page N", ""End listings" option not found…", or "Confirm button not found in End Listings dialog…". Some items may still be selected. Refresh, check what ended, and run it again.

"AT COST — price NOT changed…" / "BELOW COST — price NOT changed…"

Cause: With your markup, the new price would equal or be lower than the supplier cost. The tracker refuses to sell at a loss.

Fix:

1. Check your Markup % and any Variation settings bands.
2. Open the supplier page and confirm the cost.
3. Fix the markup and run again.

"PRICE DROP BLOCKED — price NOT changed…"

Cause: The new price is more than your Max Price Drop % below the current price.

Fix: Check the supplier page. If the lower price is real, raise Max Price Drop % (100 turns it off) and run again.

"Source soft-ban cool-down — resuming in N min"

Cause: The supplier started blocking checks. This limit comes from the supplier, not from DropFlowLister.

Fix: Leave the tab open. The tracker waits, shows "Cool-down done — testing if the source is clear…", and then continues.

"eBay price unreadable" (listing appears suspended)

Cause: The tracker couldn't read the price on that row. The listing may be on hold or suspended.

Fix: Open the listing in eBay and check its status. Fix the hold, then run again.

"Price update failed — manual edit needed → $X" / "Price cell missing post-restock — manual edit needed → $X"

Cause: eBay's inline edit box didn't open or save. The tracker retries these at the end of each page.

Fix: If it still fails, click the price on that row and type the suggested price yourself.

"Timed out — re-checking" / "Timed out on re-check"

Cause: The supplier page was slow. The tracker tries once more before moving on.

Fix: Run the page again later. If it keeps happening, check your internet connection.

"Source 404 — re-checking before next page" / "Source page gone (404)"

Cause: The supplier page no longer exists. After a second check, quantity is set to 0.

Fix: Find a new supplier link, or end the listing.

"No SKU on row" / "Stopped — no SKU rows found on page N"

Cause: The row has no Custom label, or the SKU column is hidden.

Fix: Show Custom label (SKU) with Customize. Add SKUs to listings that don't have them.

"Could not clear the log: …" / "Export failed: …"

Cause: The browser couldn't read or write the local log.

Fix: Refresh the page and try again. Close other Seller Hub tabs first.
