Image Template Editor: fix save, load, and import errors

Learn how to fix messages that appear when you save, load, import, or use an image template.

Key points

  • Templates are saved on the server: Save and load errors are often sign-in or connection problems.
  • Templates belong to a store: A missing template is often in a different store.
  • Each marketplace has its own editor: eBay and Poshmark templates are kept apart.

Save errors

"Add at least one slot or overlay"

Cause: The template is empty. Fix: Pick a layout preset or click Add Slot, then click Save Template.

"Save failed: …"

Cause: The server didn't save the template. The text after the colon gives the reason. Fix:

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Make sure you're signed in to DropFlowLister.
  3. If you added a large custom image, use a smaller file.
  4. Click Save Template again.

Load errors

"Failed to load templates for this store"

Cause: The editor couldn't load this store's templates from the server. Fix:

  1. Reload the page.
  2. Pick the store again in the Store menu.
  3. If it still fails, sign out of the popup and sign back in.

The loading screen says "Fetching your saved templates from the server…" and doesn't finish

Cause: The page is waiting on the server or your sign-in. Fix: Check your connection and reload the page.

My template is missing from Flow Lister

Cause: The template belongs to another store, or it was made in the other marketplace's editor. Fix:

  1. In Flow Lister, pick the store the template belongs to.
  2. Make sure you used the right editor. eBay uses Image Template Editor. Poshmark uses Poshmark Template Builder.
  3. Click the refresh button, then pick the template and click Apply.

Import errors

"Import failed: …"

Cause: The file isn't a valid template JSON file, or it was changed by hand. Fix: Export the template again from the original store with Export JSON, then import that file.

Note: A template exported from one editor may not look right in the other, because the canvas sizes differ (1300 × 1308 px for eBay and 1080 × 1440 px for Poshmark).

Delete confirmation

"Delete "X"?"

Cause: This is a confirmation, not an error. Fix: Click OK to delete the template, or Cancel to keep it. Deleted templates can't be recovered, so export it as JSON first if you might want it back.

Listing images look wrong

Cause: The slot Fit Mode crops photos, or slots overlap. Fix:

  1. Set Fit Mode to Contain to show the whole photo.
  2. Check the slot order with ▲ Bring Forward and ▼ Send Backward.
  3. Save, then click Preview in the Poshmark Flow Lister to check.

Email contact@dropflowlister.com with a screenshot of the editor, the store and template name, and the exported template JSON if you have it.
