Profit Hunter: fix empty searches, transfer errors, and supplier blocks
Learn how to fix searches that find nothing, transfer errors, list refresh failures, and supplier verification checks.
On this page
Key points
- Tight filters mean fewer results: Loosen one filter at a time.
- Suppliers can block heavy use: Use fewer threads if you see verification checks.
- Transfers need results: Search first, then transfer.
A search returned no products
Cause: Your filters removed every result, the term was too broad or too narrow, or the supplier blocked the search. Fix:
- Widen Price Range ($), Reviews Range, and Rating (0–5).
- Turn off Required keywords, Amazon is seller, and Max delivery days to test.
- Check Restricted words for common words that block many titles.
- Lower Threads to 1 and search again.
Note: Profit Hunter reads only the first page of supplier results for each term. Reading more pages makes supplier blocks much more likely.
Transfer messages
"No collected products found to transfer."
Cause: The Results table is empty. Fix: Run a search first, then click Transfer → eBay Flow Lister.
"No valid product links were found to transfer."
Cause: The results don't have usable product links. Fix: Clear the results and search again.
"Existing Results in Profit Hunter"
Cause: Results from an earlier search are still waiting. Fix: Click Cancel to stay and transfer them first, or Continue to keep them and add new findings.
Warnings during setup
"Walmart only provides FREE shipping on items priced $35 and above…"
Cause: Your minimum price is under $35 and you're searching Walmart. This is a Walmart shipping rule. Fix: Click Cancel and set your minimum to $35, or click OK to continue anyway.
"Failed to load default restricted words"
Cause: The built-in restricted words list didn't load. Fix: Reload the page and click Load Defaults again.
"VERO refresh failed — check console"
Cause: The VeRO brand list didn't download. Fix: Check your connection, make sure you're signed in, and click Refresh from Server again.
Supplier verification checks
" needs verification" (Chrome notification)
Cause: The supplier opened a verification check (CAPTCHA) in a tab. This is the supplier's limit, not DropFlowLister's. Fix:
- Complete the check in the tab that opened.
- The search resumes on its own.
- Lower Threads for future searches.
The search seems stuck
Cause: A supplier page is slow or waiting for a verification check. Fix:
- Look for a supplier tab that needs your attention.
- Click Pause, then Resume.
- If it still doesn't move, click Stop, set Position to the next term, and search again.
