Flow Lister for eBay: fix start, skip, and listing errors

This article lists the messages Flow Lister shows in its toasts, its Activity Log, and the Message column of the Listing Status table. Press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac) and paste your message to jump to it.

Key points

Errors that stop a run from starting

"Please add product links first."

Cause: The Product Links box is empty. Fix:

1. Paste your supplier links, one per line.
2. Click Start.

"Please select a store and click Apply before starting."

Cause: You picked a store or template but didn't click Apply. This message also shows before Retry Skips. Fix:

1. Pick your store and template.
2. Click Apply.
3. Click Start again.

"Please select a template first"

Cause: No image template is selected. Fix: Pick a template in the Template menu, then click Apply.

"Selected template not found — try refreshing"

Cause: The template was deleted or belongs to another store. Fix:

1. Click the refresh button next to Delete Store.
2. Pick the template again and click Apply.

"No templates found — open Template Editor to create one"

Cause: This store has no image templates yet. Fix: Click Editor, create and save a template, then come back and click Apply. See Image Template Editor.

"Please log in to use the Flow Lister." or "🔒 Run blocked — access denied"

Cause: You're signed out, or DropFlowLister couldn't confirm your plan. Fix:

1. Open the popup and sign in.
2. Reload the Flow Lister tab. See Account and sign-in errors.

"An active DropFlow subscription is required."

Cause: Your plan is not active, for example because the trial ended or a payment failed. Fix: Open the popup and follow the button on the lock screen. See Billing and access errors.

"Authorization failed. Please try again."

Cause: The sign-in check failed for a moment. Fix: Wait a few seconds and click Start again. If it keeps happening, sign out and sign back in.

"All N product(s) have already been listed for this store."

Cause: Every link in your queue is already listed in this store. Duplicates cost 0 credits. Fix: Add new links, or pick a different store and click Apply.

"Duplicate check failed: …"

Cause: DropFlowLister couldn't reach its server to check for duplicates. Fix: Check your internet connection and click Start again.

Credit errors

"Out of credits — listing stopped. Top up to continue."

Cause: Your credit balance reached 0 during the run. You may also see "🛑 Out of credits", "Insufficient credits", or, after Retry Skips, "Out of credits — retry stopped. Top up to continue." Fix:

1. Add credits to your account. To get more, upgrade your plan or buy a one-time credit pack (see https://dropflowlister.com/pricing/).
2. Set Start Position to the next unprocessed link, or click Retry Skips.

"Failed to deduct credit for simple listing"

Cause: DropFlowLister couldn't charge the credit, so it didn't list the product. Fix: Check your connection and your balance, then click Retry Skips.

"⚠️ Credit could not be auto-refunded."

Cause: eBay saved the listing as a draft, and the automatic refund failed. Fix: Email contact@dropflowlister.com with the product link and the time, and ask for a manual refund.

Why a product was skipped

Supplier blocking and cooldowns

" blocked us Nx (bot check) — link kept for retry"

Cause: The supplier showed a bot check. This is a supplier limit, not a DropFlowLister limit. Fix:

1. Lower Number of Threads to 1.
2. Click Retry Skips later.

" throttling detected", "Supplier cooldown detected. Waiting...", or "Cooldown active"

Cause: The supplier is slowing down requests, so Flow Lister pauses and waits. Fix: Let the timer finish. To make changes, click End & Pause on the Amazon Cooldown Active banner, then resume.

" needs verification" (Chrome notification)

Cause: The supplier opened a verification check (CAPTCHA) in a tab. Fix: Complete the check in that tab. The run resumes on its own.

eBay listing results

"⏭️ Skipped: saved as draft (item specifics missing)"

Cause: eBay needs item specifics that couldn't be filled, so it saved a draft. This is an eBay requirement. The credit is refunded. Fix:

1. Open your eBay drafts.
2. Fill in the missing item specifics and publish.

"Failed to list on eBay"

Cause: eBay rejected the form, or the listing page didn't finish. Fix:

1. Check your eBay drafts and active listings first, so you don't list twice.
2. Click Retry Skips.

"eBay listing timed out after N minutes"

Cause: The eBay listing page took too long. Fix: Check eBay drafts and active listings, then retry. Fewer threads can help on slow computers.

Connection and page errors

Clipboard and shipping policy messages

• "Clipboard is empty": Copy your links before you click Paste.
• "Clipboard access denied": Allow clipboard access for the extension page in Chrome, or paste with Ctrl+V.
• "No unlisted product links to copy": Every product in the table is listed.
• "Policy name must be 1–100 chars": Type a shorter policy name.
• ""X" already exists for . Pick a different name.": Use a new name.
• "Failed to load shipping policies" or "Shipping policies API unavailable": Click Apply in Shipping Policies to reload. Check your connection.

Warnings at the start of a run

These show in the Activity Log. They don't stop the run.

• "⚠️ Restricted Words is OFF…": Restricted words won't be checked.
• "⚠️ VERO Keyword list is EMPTY…": Click Refresh from Server under VERO Brands.
• "⚠️ VERO Brand Protection is OFF…": VeRO brands won't be checked.
• "VERO refresh failed — check console": Check your connection and click Refresh from Server again.
